It's time to thank the people who have been bringing some fun and friendship to WRER for the last few months. Thank you to Janet Shields and Yesenia George for putting together our first very successful Bunco Night in September. Thank you also to Dawn Oliphant for doing another great job organizing our 3rd annual G.A.I.N. Block Party in October. We also appreciate the street hostesses Sandee Lissner, Christine McKinney, Joyce Shafer, Yessenia George, Neva Leatherman, Melani Caron and Lea Spall, as well as Tim Troy, Geri Couchman, and Rick Oliphant for their help with this fun event. Although she was working behind the scenes, we thank Neva Leatherman for all of her work advertising our annual Neighborhood Garage Sale in November.
Our "Next Big Thing" will be our 8th annual Progressive Dinner on Saturday, January 14. Jane Henricks and Patti Dropping will be chairing this wonderful evening, and they are looking for people who are willing to open their homes for one course of the dinner, or who would help prepare a dish. Please call Jane at 909-731- 9985 or Patti at 987-7641 to volunteer. Watch for a flyer with more details about this exciting night.
